NationalPoetryMonth.ca call for submissions

I invite you to send me poems and visual poems for consideration for the April 2016  issue of NationalPoetryMonth.ca. This year I’ve opted for a free-for-all approach. Send whatever you like. Let’s see what sticks to the internet.

The DEADLINE is February 28, 2016.

Send poems to Amanda at angelhousepress dot com .

Visual poems must be in the form of a high resolution jpg JPGs (1200 pixels on the LONGEST side).

Poems must be in either .doc, .docx or rtf format.

Republished work is fine as long as you hold the copyright.

Please include an updated bio & photo. If I don’t receive these, I will assume the bio & photo I have for you on the AngelHousePress.com site under Seraphim is acceptable.

Please feel free to share this call with others.

I started NationalPoetryMonth.ca in 2009 as an alternative to institutionalized celebrations of poetry with the goal of expanding preconceived notions of what poetry is or means. My favourite response to the poetry on NationalPoetryMonth.ca is “this isn’t poetry!”

Thank you to all who have submitted work for NationalPoetryMonth.ca. Please join me in celebrating its seventh year in 2016.

Happy new year to all of you & thank you for your contributions to  & support of AngelHousePress.

Amanda Earl, (fallen) angel of AngelHousePress….
