Erika L. Sánchez is a Fulbright Scholar, CantoMundo Fellow, Bread Loaf Scholar, and winner of the “Discovery”/Boston Review Prize. Her poetry has appeared in Pleiades, Boston Review, “Latino USA” on NPR, Please Excuse This Poem: 100 New Poems for the Next Generation (Viking 2015), and is forthcoming in Poetry magazine. Erika is currently the sex and love advice columnist for Cosmopolitan for Latinas, and has contributed to The Guardian, NBC News, Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, Al Jazeera, and many others.
Willie Perdomo is the author of The Essential Hits of Shorty Bon Bon, Smoking Lovely, and Where a Nickel Costs a Dime. He is a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist, a finalist for the Poetry Society of America Norma Farber First Book Award, and winner of the PEN Beyond Margins Award. His poems have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, BOMB, Mandorla, and African Voices. He is a former recipient of the Woolrich Fellowship in Creative Writing at Columbia University, and a two-time New York Foundation for the Arts Poetry Fellow. He is currently a member of the VONA/Voices faculty and is an Instructor in English at Phillips Exeter Academy.
