Tomorrow begins Poetry Month, and over at the Chaudiere Books blog, we’re celebrating National Poetry Month with new poems every second day for the entire month of April! Watch for new work by Chaudiere authors and friends alike, including Janice Tokar, Helen Hajnoczky, Joe Blades, Kayla Czaga, Hugh Thomas, Sarah Mangold, Pearl Pirie, Stan Rogal, Lea Graham and derek beaulieu, among others.
And of course, watch for new spring titles by N.W. Lea and William Hawkins!
We recently posted an interview with Cameron Anstee, editor of The Collected Poems of William Hawkins, a title we’ve already sent to press:
and only today, posted an interview with Ottawa poet N.W. Lea, who talks about his second poetry collection from Chaudiere Books, which also releases in a matter of weeks:
and did you see that Daniel Handler recommended The Uncertainty Principle: stories, (2014)?
In June, we’re participating in both the Prose in the Park fair (Ottawa; June 6) and the ottawa small press book fair (Ottawa; June 13). Come by and say hello!
Otherwise, keep an eye on the blog for a variety of interviews with recent authors, upcoming events and new work; we’ve already begun work on our fall titles: a first collection by Kemptville, Ontario poet Chris Turnbull, a second collection by Kingston poet Jennifer Londry, and a third collection by Toronto poet Andy Weaver.
