Classes start April 6th, Register today – Chicago School of Poetics

Classes start April 6th and we have 6-week online courses designed to give you the opportunity to work with our faculty in a shortened format that costs less and requires less of a time commitment. Check out new courses like Sentenced to Gender, and returning courses like Pulse Poem Pulse, and Poetics Levels 1 and 2.

Dodie Bellamy class rescheduled to 4/25/15—there’s still time to register.

Class runs: April 25, 2015 / 1-4pm CST

Study with Dodie Bellamy in this one-day online class, The Beating of Our Hearts: Embodiment and the Turn to Content. With all the intense political realities bombarding us these days, many experimental poets are directly expressing overt content. This prose workshop/seminar will explore one path towards such content: using the body to ground ideas as well as emotion.

The class runs for 3 hours and will be held in our online, video-conferenced classroom, so you can attend from your own home, from anywhere in the world. Our students attend class from all over the world, including recently from Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Morocco, the Philippines, Singapore, Scotland, and, of course, the United States.

Class size is limited to 10 students. Register today to guarantee your seat.
